Avoiding Skin getting dyed while dying hair

Ever wondered how to avoid getting the skin near your hair to get dyed while dying your hair? Sometimes you do it yourself and its almost impossible to avoid getting some dye on your skin. It is sometimes frustrating because everytime you see a drip on your skin you have to quickly clean it off before the dye gets into your skin and it will be a real bitch to get it off your skin.

So, how to avoid it? very simple.

The answer? Vaseline!

Yes vaseline! The petroleum jelly thinamajig where you use to help moisturise dry skin.

How it works?

Simple, just apply a thin layer along the borders between your hair and face or on your ear. The dye wont be able to seep through the jelly and after dying the hair you can just wash it off and viola! no stains on the skin!

Some may ask can baby lotion or some other lotion works. Yes it does but these lotion are slightly more fluid compared to this jelly so chances that they may seep into the skin and dry off is higher. But no harm using it!

So now go ahead and dye it away!!
